Open 7 a.m. – 11 p.m., daily. Pets are allowed outside the Steigerwaldt-Jockey Children’s Fountain area. Popular location to jog, enjoy the sunset, walk your leashed pet or have a picnic at the playground. There are also two bayfront restaurants. Please note: The Allen Play Area and the Steigerwaldt-Jockey Children’s Fountain at Bayfront Park are being replaced soon with an all new playground and splash pad combination. That construction project is expected to begin in February 2023. Both the Play Area and the Children's Fountain will be closed until further notice and will reopen upon project completion.
