We were not able to visit the tower which is closed till the end of the month. However we were able to visit the house. Dustin related a history of the house and the Homestead Act from the New Deal… Full review by journalmytrips

Hostess was very knowledgeable spoke slow and answered all our questions. There was a 20 minute film that explained how the Homestead Act worked and the museum was a 20-30 minute walk through. Full review by williamlC5837KB

Even if you go on Monday or Tuesday when the Homestead Tower Museum (96 Highway 68) is closed, visiting the outside of this unusual stone structure is worthwhile even if to see where the 50,000 gallo… Full review by jbwhitehouse
