No, there is no advertised dress code; it's very friendly to Western visitors (as opposed to the mosque down the street where they issue you a robe to wear if you have bare arms or legs). That being said, I wouldn't show up in hot pants / tank top, just out of respect for the staff there.

What is opening timings of the museum?
A:
If I remember rightly it was around 10am before the day got too hot. Hope this helps

Do I need to buy a tour or can I go own my own? What's the ticket price and what's the best way to get their own my own?
A:
There is no need to buy a tour, you can go in on your own. The ticket is RM14 per adult. The nearest public transport stop is the old KL railway station, or use Grab - the local Uber.

Hi I would like to ask, is it allowed to take pictures inside the museum? if it is, do you think it's allowed to use tripod?
A:
yes, we took lots of pictures, not so sure on tripod, I would think it's fine but just double check with the museum first.
