We went during winter which is good because there is no crowd. You get a panoramic view of Barcelona. It was just a walk around the castle and some stories of some of the prisoners there. Not much… Full review by elisha a

There wasn’t much to do in the castle. Many of the rooms were closed. I found the temporary bird exhibit and the fashion exhibit intriguing though. The view from the terrace was spectacular however. … Full review by wrathagoesplaces

Thought we would visit the castle after we'd used the cable car to get up there. We had no queue on 4th December very early morning. The cable car was quite an experience, we enjoyed the ride and the… Full review by 61Rose

Do you have to enter the castle for the views, or are the views okay outside the castle and photo op. Is it worth going inside the castle for pics
A:
You have to enter the fort and pay a fee to get access to the ramparts and walkways that look out over the water and city. I thought it was worth it.

Hi get the funicular train from Paral-lel to Parc de Montjuic and then take the cable car to Castell de Montjuic. The castle is inexpensive to get into (3E) and has a nice cafe & brilliant panoramas. The funicular train is a train that is pulled up a steep hill by cables. Its all part of the Metro network. It only runs between Parc de Mont Juic and Paral-lel.

Hey Franc, to walk back its too far away. First of all, to go and leave from the castle there are two ways, either by bus nor with the teleferic. It depends on how much money you are willing to spend. The bus cost around €8-10 in total. In my opinion you should get the teleferic, two way, which is €13, you go to the castle, which has €5 entrance, and then take the teleferic to go back. At the end you take the bus, which is next to the teleferic station and go to the magic fountain. I hope that I helped you!!!
Q:
Hi, is there a place to leave your luggage or can you bring it with you?
A:
You do have to walk up a pretty good hill from the lift to the castle. Towing luggage might not be fun. Also, I don't think there would be any place to store luggage once you got there.
