What a cracking museum for airplane enthusiasts, history buffs and those with no particular interest in aviation. At the equivalent of just £6 for a regular ticket, it’s worth every penny. There’s l… Full review by E1521IIannh

Hi, We took the number 52 tram and I recall using a 20min ticket, which I think = a zone 1 ticket. Not sure where Nowa Huta is and so can’t be sure if it would be covered. Tram prices are so cheap it wouldn’t matter if it was in Zone 2 but remember to validate your ticket as soon as you board otherwise you stand to get fined and tourists are easy targets for inspectors! Hope that helps, Nick

Hi there, we took a bus, it drops you off on the main Rd and the Aviation Centre is about a ten minute stroll. It is a huge complex spread over an indoor and outdoor viewing area, there are interactive parts inside the hangers and would suggest a whole day or more if you wish to view everything. There are lots of facilities ie toilets and eating area and also the obligitory gift shop.
