Interesting building, excellent views. The museum is spacious and airy, with several exhibitions. However -- had a very surprising unpleasant experience with one of the "tour assistants." Unwelcoming… Full review by Vacation67664190053

This V&A dundee is situated by the coast, there is a tiny balcony for a glance of the ocean, which is pleasant. The exhibitions are nice, with plenty of local artworks and an international cultural e… Full review by Jonathan C

Amazing building! We took a (free) tour (ours with Cat) - both informative and entertaining. Cafe’s good too - with great views. Full review by Elaine T
Could someone please open up a separate review section for the cafe/restaurant so as to distinguish those from the Museum as a whole? Most of the 4 and 5 star reviews consist of people commenting on the catering, whereas the 1-3 star reviews tend to be about the Museum element. Its confusing to conflate the two.

why not just advertise it as a restaurant with some museumy bits from the rest of scotland. pathetic advert for dundee

V&A Dundee's temporary galleries are equipped to host exhibitions from around the world, and we have featured two from V&A South Kensington so far. Within our announced programme for later this year and 2020 , we will be hosting two exhibitions from Vitra Design Museum, ‘Hello, Robot’ and ‘Night Fever’ as well as ‘Mary Quant’ from the V&A. There are so many possibilities for the future use of this space, and our team are working hard to continue to deliver an exciting, diverse and thought-provoking exhibition programme for the years to come.
