Just as with the other replies, we too go to Lazy 5 and Tiger World almost yearly and both are very much worth the visit. However, unlike most of the reviews for Lazy 5, we prefer not to go on the wagon rides for several reasons: the tractor rides are on set schedules and must return at set times whether you’ve seen all the animals or not. In your car, you travel at your own pace. Also, while the carts pulled by the tractors do have small canopy’s, you spend a good amount of time sitting in direct sunlight; and during the summer months with NC’s heat and humidity, you will start to be relatively uncomfortable from the sun and heat after just a very short distance into the park. Staying in the vehicle is our preference as you can still enjoy the ride through the park with the windows open and the A/C blowing. To add to the fun, stop on the way home at a car wash and give the kids the vacuum hose. For a buck and a half, the car is cleaned up before you even get home! What kid doesn’t like using one of those vacuums? Make your own choices to your preferences but definitely go to both, Lazy 5 AND Tiger World. You will have a great time and agree that it is well worth the money!
Q:
Do you have a picnic place
A:
They have tables and chairs in a few spots but I don't know if you can take your own food in or not. There were spots for sure to have a picnic if food is allowed.
