This is a relatively short walk from the cruise dock. The beach was just ok. If you have never seen a glass beach before, it may be worth going to. There are better glass beaches. Full review by MinnesotaRandy

As long as you go in daylight hours, it’s perfectly safe. I have been there four times and never had a problem. I’m sure the bus goes by there or you can take a taxi. Get dropped off at the corner of Cochran and Malabar roads, walk behind the rows of apartments and you will see the entrance. It’s a rickety staircase that takes you down to the beach. If your not too good with steep stairs, you can access the far end of the beach behind the convicts graveyard which is just down the alley , still behind the apartments. It really is a beautiful spot!

Its generally one of those things that delights the finder, so I rarely see it sold. However when we were in St. George’s we found a store that sold jewelry made of sea glass and she did have a small basket with loose pieces you could buy, but she was mostly just selling her art pieces. It was in the center area of the St. George’s wharf. I don’t remember the name, but you would easily stumble on it once you got into the shopping wharf area. Vicki
