A West Haven man was among several Assumption University students charged in Worcester, Mass., in a "fake" TikTok sexual predator incident "gone bad."

Five Massachusetts college students are due in court, accused of plotting to lure a man through a dating app into visiting campus as part of a TikTok trend.

The group, as first reported by the Telegram & Gazette, is among six students, including one juvenile, accused of luring a man to campus Oct. 1 and siccing a mob of more than 20 students on him in a “To Catch a Predator”-inspired social media stunt gone awry.
