The threat of snow, sleet, freezing rain, graupel, and black ice are possible across metro Atlanta and north Georgia through Saturday morning.

As of the latest models Wednesday night, if you live in the far North Georgia mountains, you will likely see about 4-6 inches of snow by the time the storm leaves early Saturday morning. “Little, if any ice will mix in,” Nitz said. The southern parts of the mountains to the northern part of metro Atlanta will see about 2-4 inches of snow.
