The top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee, Sen. Dick Durbin, says he has highly credible information that Kash Patel is behind the firings at the FBI, something Patel denied in his confirmation hearing.

The top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee is alleging that Kash Patel, President Donald Trump’s pick to lead the FBI, is “personally directing the ongoing purge” of bureau employees.

Kash Patel, who is President Donald Trump’s nominee for FBI director, was accused of directing firings of senior FBI officials from outside the agency.
