A late-night fire in Massena killed a family of five on Monday. A sixth person, a woman, later died in the hospital, according to WWNY-TV. Massena Fire Chief Tom Miller said crews responded to the fire on Chase Street around 10 pm but the house was already engulfed in flames. He said, “our hearts go out to all those affected by this tragedy.”
