Greater Fort Worth Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Parade and Rally has been postponed due to weather concerns. The parade was originally set for Monday, January 20.  That morning, temperatures are expected to dip into the 20s.

The bitter cold will begin this weekend, especially on Sunday, when temperatures are expected to plunge into the 20s.

The parade is scheduled to run from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. and kick off at the intersection of 9th & Commerce Streets in downtown Fort Worth. This year’s event commemorates the 40th anniversary of the march’s inception.
