Video from the church shows a man sitting in a pew before rushing the sanctuary and appearing to throw a punch at Father David Gaines.

The priest, who was leading a prayer service on Tuesday at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes, was not injured.

Footage of the church’s live stream captured the suspect jumping out of his seat in the first row pew and running towards the altar where the celebrants were kneeling.
