Shannon Sharpe, who’s been in the Hall of Fame since 2011, was able to break the good news to brother and former Packers star Sterling Sharpe.

Green Bay Packers legend Sterling Sharpe is going to Canton. On Thursday night, Sharpe was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2025. Sharpe was voted in as a Senior candidate, only one of three finalists in the category.

The Packers made Sharpe, who played at the University of South Carolina, the seventh overall pick in the 1988 NFL draft. During seven years with the Packers, he made five Pro Bowls and was a three-time first-team All-Pro. Sharpe caught 595 passes for 8,134 yards and 65 touchdowns.
