WWE SmackDown highlighted the young title reign of Tiffany Stratton and gave the San Diego crowd a notable Rey Mysterio match.

Tiffany Stratton pinned Bayley clean in the middle of the ring in the first defense of her WWE Women's Championship in the main event of "WWE SmackDown."

Tiffany Stratton defeated Bayley in the main event on Friday Night SmackDown to successfully defend her WWE Women's Championship.

– Saxton interviewed Tiffany Stratton backstage. Saxton said Bayley was extremely driven to win the WWE Women’s Championship. Tiffy said Bayley has had a career of big moments, but Tiffy has had big moments, too. In fact, Tiffy said, she is a Big Moment and now it’s Tiffy Time. Tiffy said toodles and left Saxton standing in the hallway.

Tiffany Stratton Defends Title, while Braun Strowman Feuds With Bloodline on Return and Cody Rhodes saves Rey Mysterio Jr from Kevin Owens in an action packed Friday Night show.

Perhaps the best match of the entire show was an impromptu Fatal Four Way Match. Naomi, Bayley, Nia Jax, and Bianca Belair went at it after a major brawl. The bout was made by Nick Aldis, but with a perk: the winner would become the new number-one contender for the WWE Women's Championship.

Stratton's first title defense comes against one of the most decorated women's champions in WWE history. Solo Sikoa is also set to return after losing to Roman Reigns in Tribal Combat on Jan. 6. Sikoa can no longer claim to be Tribal Chief but his New Bloodline is still terrorizing SmackDown.
