AMD Wednesday launched its 28-nm Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition and Radeon HD 7750 graphics cards, the first of which the chip maker claims is the world’s first GPU to break the 1 GHz barrier.
These are suspected to be AMD’s Ryzen AI Max chips. Meanwhile, the Radeon RX 7650 and 7750 could be entirely new GPUs or renamed models of existing cards that come in at lower price points.
A standout option from AMD is the Radeon RX 7900 GRE. Widely considered among the best AMD graphics cards in the midrange category, it comes equipped with 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM for entry-level 4K gaming.
