Educators around Kern County are gearing up for the county’s largest gathering of school district recruiters in one location.

Kern crisscrossed the state to visit their homes. Kol Heinicke, age eight, shows Annabelle, his goat, at the Anoka County Fair. “You can tell he cared about the animal deeply,” Kern says.
