Mason Gooding has provided some details about Scream 7. The seventh Scream feature, which is currently in production in Atlanta, will see the return of Gooding as Chad Meeks-Martin. The actor first played the character back in 2022 and reprised the role in Scream VI in 2023.

A new Ghostface is gearing up for another big screen killing spree next year, and this one sounds like it might be one of the most dangerous iterations of the villain yet. Scream 7 is currently in production with original Scream scribe Kevin Williamson in the director’s chair this time around.

Fans are still sore about Dewey being killed off, and since Neve Campbell dropped out of Scream VI, that means Courteney Cox is the only actor to appear in every single installment of the slasher property. And it's going to take a lot for the violence to top Arquette's death.

Gooding’s Chad Meeks-Martin was introduced in 2022’s Scream V, the fraternal twin of Savoy Brown’s Mindy. Chad and his sister survive Ghostface’s attacks and will continue to be part of the franchise with Scream VII.
