Utah Hockey Club announced today that the team has acquired forward Sammy Walker from the Minnesota Wild in exchange for future considerations. Walker has been assigned to the Tucson Roadrunners of the American Hockey League (AHL).

The Minnesota Wild have traded Sammy Walker to the Utah Hockey Club in exchange for Future Considerations. When the Wild signed Sammy Walker after his senior season at the University of Minnesota, it looked like they had signed a solid guy to bounce up and down from the AHL and NHL.
