UPDATE: Richmond, Missouri, police said officers took Darren Tackett into custody without incident Wednesday. RICHMOND, Mo. — Police in Richmond, Missouri, want the public to keep their eyes open.

A 22-year-old Richmond woman was killed and six others injured in a head-on crash early Sunday near Orrick, Mo. The Missouri Highway Patrol identified the dead woman as Rachel M. Bailey.

Fire crews had to return to the scene Wednesday to make sure the fire was completely out after the initial call on Tuesday.

The cause of the fire had not been determined Monday. Damage estimates were not available. The Missouri State Fire Marshal’s Office is assisting Richmond authorities with the investigation.
