The recall affects 12-ounce bags of the product, which were sold in 20 states and pose serious health risks if consumed.

Kirkland Signature Smoked Salmon products recalled in October 2024 are now considered to be a Class 1 recall, the FDA’s most serious warning.

The recalled salmon was in a twin 12oz. package that was vacuum-packed. The packaging has “smoked salmon” and an image of a fish on the front, the FDA said in its news release
