T he new year is here and Xbox has announced its first batch of games joining its subscription service. Xbox Game Pass for console and PC will see seven games added to the service

Microsoft is allowing PC Game Pass members over the age of 18 to earn rewards by playing PC games, a perk previously available only to console gamers with a Game Pass Ultimate subscription. This update goes into effect on January 7.

XBOX Game Pass offerings became a lot more difficult to decipher last year when the subscription service was restructured. There was a price increase at every tier and Console was replaced by

Xbox Game Pass, with plenty of great indie games and highly-anticipated AAA titles hitting the service on day one.

Xbox Game Pass has made its first announcement of the year, and though it isn't exactly bursting at the seams, it's going to catch players with nostalgia hook, line and sinker.

Microsoft announced its first wave of Xbox Game Pass games coming in January. Seven games total are coming to the subscription service, one of which is one of the most beloved and influential ARPGs of all time.
