Investigators alleged that she altered several voter registration cards by changing the affiliation party from “No” or “Republican” to “Democrat.”

According to the Torrington Police Department, officers investigated a fraud complaint concerning voter registration cards that were altered after a national voting event on September 17, 2024. The event was at the Western Connecticut Mental Health Network on 849 Winsted Road.

A woman is under arrest after Torrington police say she altered voter registration cards during an event last year. Arlanda Brantley, 57, is a state employee with the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services.
