Police are investigating the death of a Queens superintendent as a homicide, days after he was found dead and wrapped in plastic bags underneath a bed inside an apartment, authorities said Thursday.

A woman allegedly murdered her apartment building superintendent and stuffed his body parts in a trash bag that she stashed under a bed. Sandra Coto Navarro, 48, is accused of striking the superintendent, identified as Jose Portillo, 55, on the head and stabbing his neck and leg.

Police said they found a dead man wrapped in plastic bags under a bed in a Queens apartment on Tuesday, prompting an investigation by the city medical examiner’s office to determine how he died.

Cops on Thursday were awaiting search warrants that would give them access to a Queens apartment where a building superintendent who had gone to collect overdue rent was found dead stuffed in garbage bags under a bed.
