Pittsburgh Steelers secondary coach Grady Brown is interviewing for the Atlanta Falcons' defensive coordinator position, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero. Brown has garnered some interest in past cycles, and now will have a chance to land a defensive coordinator job under Mike Tomlin’s best friend, Falcons head coach Raheem Morris.

Another name has surfaced in the Atlanta Falcons search for a new defensive coordinator. According to a report from NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the team will interview Pittsburgh Steelers secondary coach Grady Brown on Friday.

The Steelers have a ton of needs on both sides of the ball. Pittsburgh needs to re-sign these 3 players before free agency.

To be fair, most fans and pundits place the blame squarely at the feet of head coach Mike Tomlin. But not former NFL quarterback Chris Simms. He gives Tomlin a pass and even goes so far as to say the Steelers are overperforming thanks to Tomlin.

Heading into 2024, wide receiver was a major weakness for the Pittsburgh Steelers. After the Black and Gold once again failed to secure a playoff win this season—much of the blame falling on the lack of production from their wide receivers—it's safe to say that Steelers GM Omar Khan will aim to correct this issue in 2025.
