The second of five storms that will slam the eastern half of the United States with snow and ice over a two week period is on the way – and this one has more snow than the first.

Snow will fall across most of the tri-state area Saturday night and into Sunday morning. A total of 2 to 5 inches are possible in New York City with 5 to 8 inches possible in inland areas north of the five boroughs.

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Meteorologist Peyton Sanders says that a winter storm is on the way to Kansas Tuesday night and Wednesday. Before the storm arrives, areas of flurries and light snow will be possible Monday night and Tuesday morning. Any snow accumulation will likely remain under 1 inch.
