Mark Zuckerberg, one of Facebook’s founders and CEO of Meta, announced three new additions to his company’s board of directors on Monday. One of those elected was Dana White, CEO and president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

In a since-deleted tweet posted on Wednesday, the official account for the House GOP challenged the patriotism of the president-elect’s foreign policy detractors, claiming that denying Trump’s “big dreams” for the country was “un-American.”

Mr. White, a close ally of President-elect Donald J. Trump, further strengthens the social media giant’s connections with the incoming administration.
