Rattler completed 26 of 42 passes for 240 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions and rushed once for 11 yards in the Saints' 27-19 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday. The rookie quarterback got one final opportunity to gain experience and build his case for the future since Derek Carr (hand) remained sidelined,

So far this season, Rattler is 0-4 as the starting quarterback. This season Ratter has thrown for 859 yards, 2 touchdowns, 3 interceptions and has been sacked 17 times.

On a double-pass trick play, Spencer Rattler connected with Foster Moreau on a 30-yard touchdown that gave the New Orleans Saints a 7-3 lead over the Las Vegas Raiders.

But the Raiders went ahead to stay in the final minute of the first half, as quarterback Aidan O’Connell found Jakobi Meyers on a 3-yard touchdown pass. The half ended with Saints kicker Blake Grupe hitting a field goal from 34 yards out to get the Saints within 13-10.
