After imposing his will on offense for four quarters, Atlanta’s Trae Young still had one play left in him with the final seconds ticking off the clock.

Trae Young hit a buzzer-beating 3-pointer from beyond halfcourt to give the Hawks a stunning win over the Jazz on Tuesday.

Trae Young is in the middle of a season of extremes, and he added to the theme on Tuesday night with 20 assists and a halfcourt game-winning buzzer beater to stun the Utah Jazz 124-121.  Collin Sexton had just hit the game-tying 3 for Utah off a broken possession with 2.

Prior jubilation turned to shock in the blink of an eye. Atlanta's Trae Young pulled up from half court and buried a game-winner as the buzzer sounded to lift Quin Snyder's Hawks to a 124-121 win over the Utah Jazz.

Young had a monster night, with 24 points and 20 assists, leading a balanced Atlanta attack with Clint Capela scoring 18 and De'Andre Hunter adding 17 off the bench. The Hawks had lost three in a row on the road and could use this win on their six-game road trip (which heads to Phoenix on Thursday).

The Atlanta Hawks and the Utah Jazz played out an incredible closing few seconds on Tuesday night, but it was Atlanta’s Trae Young who had the last word with a remarkable game-winning buzzer-beater from beyond halfcourt.

Young then got the ball off of the inbounds pass, took two dribbles and chucked up a heave from beyond halfcourt. It was nothing but net. Young's improbable shot at the buzzer gave Atlanta a 124-121 win on the road as he capped off an eye-popping 24-point, 20-assist game.
