In the final days before the trade deadline, the Miami Heat are one team everyone around the league has zeroed in on.

Anthony Edwards dominated the struggling Knicks, who were again outplayed in the fourth quarter, again barraged by 3-pointers and again lost handily, 116-99, Friday night to the Timberwolves.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are struggling to build chemistry this season after cornerstone forward Karl-Anthony Towns was traded to New York in the offseason.

Friday’s game was a far cry from Dec. 19, when the Knicks dominated the Timberwolves in Minnesota, 133-107. That night, Edwards scored just 17 points on 16 shots, deferring to Randle, who was still acclimating to his new team after the trade.

ESPN writer Kevin Pelton has floated a Julius Randle trade that would absolutely improve the Minnesota Timberwolves' spacing.

Given that Anthony Edwards is listed as questionable on the injury report, the assumption is that he could end up playing against the Nuggets. DiVincenzo is a fixture on the injury report these days, but if Edwards feels significantly better before tip-off, he'll be active for Saturday's game against the Nuggets.
