Mavrik Bourque, Roope Hintz, Wyatt Johnston and Miro Heiskanen scored for Dallas (26-13-1), which also won its fourth straight on the road. Jason Robertson had two assists, and Casey DeSmith made 27 saves.

Dallas Stars forward Matt Duchene has scored a lot of goals in his NHL career. He has scored 358 of them to be exact, thanks to his early third-period goal against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday night.

Dallas is like the Leafs in a lot of ways: they have very good goaltending and a power play that looks like it should be good, but usually doesn't score. There's one big difference – the Stars are very good at controlling possession and getting good enough quality in their shots for and against.

The Ottawa Senators (21-18-3) defeated the Dallas Stars (27-14-1) by a score of 3-2, and with a strong performance from Leevi Merilainen, the Senators have moved to within just a point of the second wild card spot in the Eastern Conference.
