The NBA champion Boston Celtics dominated the Dallas Mavericks in a Finals rematch on Saturday as the Houston Rockets took the Cleveland Cavaliers down a peg and Victor Wembanyama ended a "priceless" week in Paris with a defeat.

The Boston Celtics ended their Western Conference road trip on Saturday, Jan. 25, with a 122-107 win over the Dallas Mavericks. This was the Celtics' third win in four road games and marked the end of another successful venture out West.

The Houston Rockets have been one of the NBA’s more surprising teams this season. After their past three games, they shouldn’t shock anyone. The Rockets beat the Eastern Conference-leading Cleveland Cavaliers twice last week before traveling to Boston and pulling out a 114-112 victory over the defending champion Celtics on Monday night.

The Celtics will need to play well at home to prevent another deflating loss to a team they should beat on paper.
