It depends on how you file your taxes and how you choose to receive your refund. If you file electronically and your return is accurate and complete, the IRS says it should take less than three weeks to receive your refund and even less time if you choose direct deposit.

Your bank or credit union has not posted the refund. If you're claiming the Earned Income Tax Credit, those refunds can't go out before mid-February, but the IRS says filers should receive their funds by March 3, 2025, if their returns had no problems and they chose direct deposit.
