Indiana State Police officials have charged a second person accused of helping Austin Schepers elude law enforcement.

On January 11, just after 1:30 a.m., an Indiana State Police trooper was patrolling the area of McCarty Lane near County Road 550 East when he stopped a Chevrolet Silverado for a traffic violation. During the stop, the driver told the trooper their vehicle had allegedly been shot before the traffic stop.

A suspect in a deadly shooting of a Cleveland rapper was arrested in Pennsylvania. According to the U.S. Marshals Service, Carlos Banks, 28, was shot and killed on the 5100 block of Broadway Avenue in Cleveland at 4 a.m. on Dec. 29.
