Atlanta City councilmember Marci Collier Overstreet is pushing for new initiatives to revitalize Greenbriar Mall and maximize its potential to better serve the Southwest Atlanta community.

Nationally known stores and dining options, a new $225,000 electric sign and more are in the mall's future, according to a new owner.

Within the next two weeks, construction is going to start on underground infrastructure to put in power and water for the new shopping center with a car wash, food and retail shops.
