Alyssa Healy is set to miss the upcoming season of the Women’s Premier League, opting to rest after recurring foot injuries over the past year.

Healy is currently recovering from a stress reaction in her right foot, due to ruptures to her plantar fascia during the T20 World Cup in October. This injury made her miss the T20I leg of the series against England, where she played only as a batter and handed over wicketkeeping duties to Beth Mooney.
