Apple has changed the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America on its maps after an order by President Donald Trump was made official by the U.S.

People in Mexico will still see the name Gulf of Mexico, with international users seeing both names, Google said. The change follows an executive order from President Trump.

Apple Maps and Bing Maps are both joining Google by changing their Maps software and apps to now display "Gulf of America" on the body of water that's been known as the Gulf of Mexico since the 16th century.
