Hours of heavy rain triggered mudslides along the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu and on Palisades Drive in Pacific Palisades overnight. Erin Myers reports for the KTLA 5 Morning News on Feb 7, 2025.

The mudslide was reported at approximately 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of Westside Road and Rio Vista Road in Forestville, the sheriff's office said in a Facebook post. The house, which was unoccupied, was later spotted downstream, Wood said.
