The Boston attorney who was found stabbed to death on his houseboat was wrapped and weighted down, a prosecutor said.

A 24-year-old named a “person of interest” in connection with the death of a man on a luxury houseboat in Charlestown now faces a murder charge, prosecutors said Thursday. Nora Nelson was arrested at the scene of the man’s death on Sunday night on a trio of warrants charging her with a variety of domestic violence offenses unrelated to the Charlestown case.

Police found the body of a 65-year-old man “wrapped in a white and blue covering, secured with duct tape, and affixed with weights” on his houseboat in Charlestown on Sunday, prosecutors said Friday during the arraignment of the 24-year-old woman charged with his murder.
