Sony Pictures Classics will release "On Swift Horses," the period war drama and romance from director Daniel Minahan, acquiring the film ahead of it closing out the SXSW Film & TV Festival next month.

SXSW announced the rest of its 2025 film and television lineup on Wednesday, including the world premiere of Jillian Bell’s directorial debut Summer Of ’69. It was also announced that the festival will feature the U.
