The Dallas Police Department is investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred Tuesday afternoon, according to a post on the department’s X account. The shooting occurred in the 11000 block of Joaquin Drive in northeast Dallas after police arrived to investigate a person reportedly waving a gun at motorists, according to WFAA-TV.

"There's a guy out there pointing a gun at people's cars and I just heard a couple gunshots," reported one 911 caller.
