Mourners warmly applauded as Denis Law's coffin was taken out of the cathedral. The song Angel by Rod Stewart, which Law and the Scotland World Cup squad of 1974 recorded a version of with the rock singer, was also played, as the service reaches its final stages.

Manchester United's former manager Alex Ferguson and current boss Ruben Amorim were among those in attendance for the funeral of the club's legendary striker Denis Law on Tuesday. Law played for both Manchester clubs during a glittering career that also included spells at Huddersfield and Torino.
