While Xbox Game Pass rarely goes a month without getting at least something new that’s worth checking out, it’s certainly had its dry spells in recent years. The back half of January, however, has quietly revealed a surprising number of cool new games hitting the Netflix-like subscription service,

On January 31, Xbox Game Pass will remove Death's Door and five other titles. Death's Door, a highly-rated indie game, combines Soulslike elements with Zelda-style gameplay. Darkest Dungeon is another well-reviewed game leaving Game Pass in January 2025.

Update [Tue 21st Jan 2025, 6:45am]: Microsoft has confirmed today that all six of the games leaving Xbox Game Pass in late January 2025 will also be removed from Xbox Cloud Gaming. We've updated the table below. If you haven't seen, we've also now got 13 Game Pass titles confirmed for January 22nd - February 4th!

Xbox has revealed its next batch of games coming to its Game Pass subscription service, four of which are brand-new titles coming to the platform on day one of their release.
