A multi-law enforcement manhunt for a Gordon County murder suspect ended with a shooting, according to authorities.

Christopher Dixon, 46, was found hiding under a mobile home on Daisy Street in Gordon County and was shot by law enforcement. Dixon is suspected of involvement in a murder and house fire that occurred the previous night.

GORDON COUNTY, Ga. (WDEF) — The Gordon County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) is searching for a suspect in an apparent homicide. On February 4, 2025 at 7:30 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a residence on James Street for reports of a person shot. Upon arrival, deputies found the home on fire.
