Kanye West's Twitter/X account has been deactivated after critics decried his "antisemitic rampage" on Elon Musk's social media platform.

Kanye West's X account was deactivated after the rapper spent the past several days making wildly offensive remarks on the platform.

This was not the first time West had posted antisemitic rants on X. The rapper was restricted on the social media platform in 2022 after a post in which declared that he wanted to go “death con 3 on Jewish people.” The 2022 rant led to widespread backlash and resulted in Adidas terminating its collaboration with West.

Kanye West has gone dark. In the wake of a series of antisemitic tweets from the rapper and fashion mogul, West’s X account was deactivated.

Controversial rapper Ye has deleted his X account after ranting about Taylor Swift at the Super Bowl and just days after posting vile antisemitic slurs on the social media platform. Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, shared posts late last week praising Adolf Hitler and Nazis on the social media platform.

TMZ broke the news on Tuesday that West was sued by a former Yeezy employee who claimed she was fired after complaining about his antisemitism. In the docs, the woman claimed West texted her and another Jewish staff member in a group chat, “Welcome to the first day of working for Hitler.”
