A private bath complex in Pompeii has been unearthed by archaeologists; the baths highlight the wealth of the ancient city before it was destroyed in AD 79.

"We have here perhaps the largest thermal complex in a private house in Pompeii," said Gabriel Zuchtriegel, director of the Pompeii archaeological park.
