Corey Walker pleaded guilty to one count of voluntary manslaughter and two counts of robbery, with firearm and gang enhancements, in the fatal shooting of rapper Pop Smoke.

Walker also pleaded guilty to the robbery of an unidentified woman who was with Smoke when he was shot. The manslaughter and robbery charges carry a two-year sentence that will run concurrently with the 29-year sentence.

In two weeks, it will mark five years since Pop Smoke was shot and killed during a home-invasion robbery. One of the four attackers was sentenced to four years in 2023, and on Tuesday (Feb. 4) another one — the only adult of the group — pleaded guilty and faces 29 years in state prison.
