A man was shot around Union Station just before the Monday evening commute, according to D.C. police spokesman Sean Hickman. Officials received a call about 4:40 p.m. that a man had been shot, Hickman said.

Detectives have released images of a person they have identified as a suspect in connection to Monday’s homicide in the parking garage of Union Station.

DC Police found a man unconscious and not breathing at the at the bottom of the escalator leading to the waiting area at Union Station after reports of a shooting around 4:47 p.m. Monday. Despite the efforts of first responders, the man was declared dead on the scene. Now, police have released a photo of the suspect.
