Thousands of people were leaving the Greek island of Santorini by sea and air for a third day as an unprecendented series of earthquakes shook the top travel destination.

Thousands of residents, seasonal workers and tourists have left Santorini and its neighboring islands after a spike in seismic activity since Jan. 31.
